It's also the first time my big girl starts reception class aka proper school with uniform etc
MashaAllah! I was so nervous the night before. I might be too excited but worry at the same time. Excited because she will be in the school the whole 5 days from 8am to 2:30pm. Prior to this one she only went for 2 and a half days at Iman pre school which is literally next door. But now we have to travel around 25 minutes by car and the school time starts very early, well at least earlier than any normal state school.
الحمد لله رب العالمين she was generally exicited since she has meet the teacher twice before she even started. Once was on induction day and second time was when the teacher visited our house.
ماشاء الله I found them very kind and helpful to make Nusaybah settle down quickly in this transitional period.
Today, when I dropped her to school and show her what she needed to do when she arrived and how to use the toilet, she straight away went for play dough station. الحمد لله رب العالمين she doesn't hold herself back. She's more than ready to start this adventure. I can believe my girl is completely independent facing this new phase of her life ماشاء الله
I pray that there will be much goodness from this process and May Allah ﷻ guides us and all our children to the straight path
