I believe there will be a point in our life that will define who we are. those points can be the time of hardship as well as the time of ease ior even a single short conversation with someone you recently know.
That's one of the moment I experience today!
الحمد لله رب العالمين
I spoke to a sister whom I knew recently and we share about the worry we have on how much time we invest to build our relationship with Allah while we also try to build the next generations (our children).
Often, we (me specifically) miss to have the time to just sit and recite Quran as long as we want to, pray as khusyu' as we want to, contemplate on life without any distruction but she said one sentence that it's not the first time I heard but this time it just click and make sense more than ever before.
"This is just a phase we have to go through sis, soon the kids will grow up and being independent then we can pick up on what we left off.
for the time being, keep remind yourself that we are doing the ground work to raise generation that will worship Allah, what else Allah wants from His servant apart from them worshipping Him SWT?"
سبحان الله
Yes it's click!
Yes it's hard
Yes it's full of sacrifice
Yes it's a daunting but rewarding task
But I can imagine how happy I am whenever I remember that in every good deeds my children will do weather it's reciting Quran or carry the da'wah, doing a good deeds, etc, I will get the portion of rewards from it because the time and energy I invest to nurture them.
I'm not perfect mom, in fact far from it but WALLAHI the above thoughts enough to bring me back on why i should not complain and why I should feel honoured and blessed through my children and the guidance (Islam) that Allah has bestowed on me
