Social Intelligence

I spent most of my day yesterday for Hudayfah and I deliberately made effort to focus ONLY on him, instead of him tagging along with me which usually what happened. He’s always with me wherever I go and it’s understandable as we don’t have close family I can leave him with and he is at that age where he’s looking for a figure whom he can feel safe to be around.  But yesterday when I took him to the children centre and saw how he behaved during sing along sessions, I come to realisation that he’s not always this tough ‘image’ he portraits at home. At home, he often dominates his two older sisters, dictates what cartoon to watch and what game to play and where and when he should sleep. Bless the girls, they just gave up everything for him so that he didn’t scream at them. Of course this behaviour concerned me as it’s never acceptable for any siblings to feel less loved or less important than others so I made a conscious efforts to address this kind of situation even though sometime I let
